Back in April, Kat and Matt (who you may remember from their Lickey Hills pre-wedding shoot with their adorable puppy) chose Ardencote Manor for their wedding reception, after an emotional ceremony at St Nicholas Beaudesert Church in Henley in Arden. The daffodils were still in full bloom and it was a wonderful day. Kat looked stunning in her Ian Stuart dress and they travelled in style with a vintage VW convertible Beetle for the happy couple, and a vintage camper van for the bridal party.
I think Kat has to win the prize for my most emotional bride this year - she dissolved into tears as her hair and make up were being finished and she was still crying after the half hour journey to the church! However, it meant so much to capture the transition from tears to laughter as the day went on and the images of Kat outside the church and during the ceremony are some of my favourites from the year, because of the real emotion captured.
Look out for the amazing table plan, created by Kat's chief bridesmaid, which fitted perfectly with the English garden theme. The Palm Conservatory at Ardencote was the perfect setting and I have to thank the staff there for being so helpful and welcoming. They really went above and beyond. I must also thank Frank Wood for his assistance in capturing the day.
I'll leave you to enjoy the pictures and it would be great if you could leave Kat and Matt a comment. If you're looking for a photographer for your Ardencote Manor wedding, get in touch as dates are filling fast for 2015 and 2016!
