Amy and Neil planned and organised their big day in just over four weeks, coming over from their home in Shanghai to get married at the Old Library at the Custard Factory in Birmingham city centre on the Saturday after Christmas. It's a stunning venue which you can really make your own mark on. They chose a red theme with Chinese pandas on the tables which were very popular with the kids. There were many flying pandas on the dancefloor in the evening!
It was obvious how much in love they are - Amy didn't stop smiling all day and she just couldn't wait for the moment when they could kiss for the first time as husband and wife. I loved how she kept whispering to Neil, "Can we kiss yet?" all through the ceremony :)
The Custard Factory offers so many great opportunities for photos and they were keen to make the most of them, despite the cold and Amy's very high (& very sparkly) shoes, which meant we captured a wonderful range of portraits. They even fitted in a game of table tennis as you'll see from the pictures below.
Congratulations Amy and Neil and thanks again for trusting me to capture your special day. I know that you're going to be very happy together :)
Thanks to Lee and everyone at Fazeley Events for another wonderful day. I love how everything always runs so smoothly but is managed in a very relaxed way. If you're planning a wedding at the Old Library or Fazeley Studios, I'd love to have a chat about your plans so get in touch!
