Back in 2007 I started a photo a day project after buying my first DSLR. I was soon hooked on photography and spent the next few years taking thousands and thousands of photos, and developing my skills.
With my Masters Degree and busy with weddings, my personal photography took a back seat last year - a common occurrence with professional photographers - but this year I'm determined to spend more time documenting my family and exploring my own projects. You can see that I love taking photos of plants and I hope to spend more time in the garden this year.
Here are a few of my favourites from January. My daughter turned six and I had fun making her a retro hedgehog cake - anyone else have one of these when they were a kid? There was lots of ice and snow, I had pictures featured in two national magazines and I finally got my tax return submitted!
I'm looking forward to a few more flowers featuring over the next couple of months.
