While on the subject of wedding fairs, another fair that's well worth visiting if you're on the look out for something a bit different, is The Eclectic Wedding Extravaganza, otherwise known as It's All About Ewe! I went along to their debut fair at Fazeley Studios in Birmingham last November to catch up with some friends and have a browse. I also wanted to check out the venue as it's the venue for my competition winners, Amy and John, who are getting married in a couple of months.
The stands were a little different to your standard wedding fair. Here are some of my highlights, starting with one of my favourite displays as so much work had gone into it, Restoration Cake.
It was great to chat to Jen from Little Ruby Red. She makes the most amazing cake toppers and is completely lovely!
I was keen to catch up with the lovely ladies from Ava Event Styling. They'd done an amazing job with their stand and decorating the cafe too, including superheroes, Alice in Wonderland and live goldfish. Check out those gorgeous colours! Retro entertainment from The Pin Ups. Customised vintage accessories from Revive Me Boutique. I really loved Devlin Photos’ quirky stand! Incredible cakes from Black Cherry Cake Company. My favourite discovery was the fabulous felt and button creations by Jamball. How amazing are these? They're very lovely people too. If I was getting married again, I'd certainly commission a bouquet and buttonholes. And finally, my old friends Luxe Bridal were there with their stunning range of vintage dresses and accessories.
They've just released tickets for their Spring Show on the 24th March and it'll certainly be worth a visit!
