September has been a really busy month, hence the lack of recent posts. My major task was to finish my Masters Degree which involved rather a lot of work. I finally handed it in, breathed a huge sigh of relief and rewarded myself with a weekend away at Festival Number 6 at one of my favourite places, Portmeirion. We were lucky enough to get married there (a few years ago - not at the festival!) so it holds a very special place in my heart. We couldn't miss their debut as a festival venue and it certainly didn't disappoint! Since then I've been catching up on editing - watch out for Lorraine and Martin's beautiful Stratford wedding coming up very soon.
I'm also preparing for the Autumn wedding fair season. I'll be exhibiting at a vintage themed fair at Harborne Golf Course this Sunday. More details can be found here: Harborne Vintage Wedding Fair. If you pre-register, you'll be entered into the prize drawer.
Then on October 14th I'll be at Wootton Park, an amazing venue in Wootton Wawen, near Stratford. It's situated in beautiful countryside and has wonderful facilities, including a stylishly decorated farmhouse for overnight stays and glamping pods for the less conventional! See this post for more details of the venue.
On the 21st October I'll be at the Vintage Chic Wedding Fair at the Centennial Centre in Birmingham. I blogged about their Spring Fair earlier this year and it was a feast of inspiration. Well worth a visit as there are lots of amazing exhibitors, including Luxe Bridal, SGR Vintage Hair and Makeup, Fusion Flowers and yours truly! There may even be a special competition to celebrate our recent collaboration, featured on the cover of Unique Bride magazine.
If you're planning your wedding, a wedding fair is well worth a visit - hope to see you at one of them!
